Cybersecurity in the Rail Environment

Tom Williams and Tom Stankowski will discuss why our signalling systems need cyber security now more than ever. They will explore the different threat actors and examine what we can do to mitigate the risks to these systems.

IRSE International Convention 2024

IRSE Exams – booking open soon

For 5 October 2024 exam session

Candidates will be able to sit:
either the Certificate (module A) – available to IRSE members and non-members or one or more of modules B, C and D – available only to IRSE members who have previously passed an IRSE exam module.

All exams will be held online, monitored by remote invigilation and anti-plagiarism software. IRSE exams are all closed book.

Join the IRSE licensing audit team

IRSE Licensing is looking for experienced auditors in the UK to carry out audits of our licensing assessing agencies.

This is a rewarding role in which you can make a direct and important contribution to the safety of our railways.

Training is provided, and you will have access to regular professional development and support from the licensing team.

Dutch Section – Linking TMS-ATO/C-DAS for optimised operations

London & SE section AGM 2024 and presentation on mastering the transition to MCX over 4G/5G to reach FRMCS in control rooms

Please join the London & SE Section for their AGM followed by a technical presentation by Markus Myslivec, Head of Public Transport Solutions, Frequentis AG, Austria, Vienna.

This talk will focus on the journey to mission-critical communication services (MCX) over 4G/5G networks to reach FRMCS; it speeds up, as the first set of specifications is available.
