Call for papers: ASPECT 2027
14-16 Sep 2027; Birmingham, UK
ASPECT 2027 will bring the global railway signalling and train control community together to share knowledge, debate emerging technologies and explore the future of safe, reliable railway operation.
CALL FOR PAPERS: If you would like to present a paper at ASPECT 2027, please email aspect.papers@irse.org together with a 500-word abstract outlining your topic by 15 December 2026.
IRSE Exam
BOOKING OPEN UNTIL 30 AUGUST
Booking is open for all four modules of the October IRSE exam. Candidates can sit either the Certificate in Railway Control Engineering Fundamentals (Module A) or any of the Advanced Diploma modules (B, C, D).
The deadline to book is Sunday, 30 August. We encourage all candidates to make full use of the exam materials available on our website and advise booking early to gain access to practice papers as soon as possible.
Members’ Lunch
