Presidential Programme Lecture

Join us for the third of Ian Bridges’ Presidential Programme lectures on the theme “the age of the intelligent railway”.

Paul Hendriks FIRSE will be discussing IRSE’s International Technical Committee’s paper on Big Data. 

Almost everyone has already heard something about the Internet of Things (IoT). However, what is IoT and how can this be applied in the railway sector?

In this lecture, Paul will explore what part IoT could play in ‘the age of the intelligent railway’ alongside essential themes such as cyber security, condition monitoring and data management.
