EGM 2025

The results are in…

By now you may have heard that we will officially be moving into our petition for Royal Charter with a new name as The Institution of Railway Signal Engineering.

Emerging technology and new skills continue to influence and transform our industry and it is hoped that the small yet exciting change of name will more readily allow a wider cross section of the railway engineering community to see the IRSE as their professional home.

Thank you again to everyone who took the time to vote and participate at our EGM in December. Your engagement is vital to the governance and future direction of our Institution.
