AusRAIL PLUS 2023

AusRAIL PLUS, the largest rail event in the Asia-Pacific is returning to Sydney.
In excess of 5,000 rail industry professionals are expected to attend the three-day event where more than 100 presenters and at least 300 exhibitors will be on display.

Third Presidential Lecture
21 November 2023, Melbourne Australia
The third in Steve Boshier’s series of presidential lectures will hear the IRSE International Technical Committee’s paper on ‘key requirements for the effective, safe and ethical use of AI’.
This will be presented as part of ASPECT 2023. The session will be recorded and made available later on our Vimeo channel to view on-demand.

CBTC conference
30 November 2023; Toronto, Canada
The 6th IRSE CBTC & Beyond Conference will be held at Fairmont Royal York in downtown Toronto on Thursday 30 November and Friday 1 December 2023.
The conference will cover advanced train control systems – implemented, projects in progress and in planning – across metros, light rail transit, commuter rail, intercity and freight systems
Exam News
Well done to all those who sat the IRSE Professional Exam on 7 October. The examiners, moderators and reviewers are now working hard to ensure that all candidates receive their results as soon as possible.
Reviews of the anti-plagiarism and remote invigilation software are being done in parallel.
We are always interested in feedback about the exam process, to improve it and make it more accessible and relevant.
Candidates for each exam are invited to complete the relevant feedback questionnaire below:
Essential Database Maintenance
During December, we will be performing some substantial database upgrades. This will temporarily impact our ability to update the IRSE website and you being able access some areas of the website via your member login.
