Under the current situation of financial turmoil, every one has to well equip oneself for the coming challenges.  Studying a suitable higher degree is surely one of the best ways to add value to oneself for taking on the future challenges.  The MSc course in Electrical Engineering from HK PolyU provides a flexible approach for you to tailor-make a path for yourself.  It can be a general MSc in Electrical Engineering; it can also be a MSc in specialized area, say MSc EE (Railway Systems) – actually this specialism is offered in collaboration with MTR.  The length of study can vary from 1 year to 6 years.  The talk will give more details on the features, subject  contents and application details of the course.

2. Shenyang Metro -

 

Like other 1st and 2^nd tier cities in Mainland China , Shenyang of Liao Ning Province has started to construct underground railway to reduce the road congestion problem.  MTR enters a joint venture with local government to operate and maintain Line 1 and Line 2 which will be opened in October 2010 and July 2012 respectively.

 

In this presentation, the outline of the Shenyang Metro will be provided in particular some special system features (when compared to MTR System in Hong Kong ).
